If you’re ready to take the CBD plunge, but just not quite sure where to start, these simple questions will help guide you through the process of selecting the best choice of Illuminent CBD products for you, your family, friends, and pets.
- Am I concerned about DRUG SCREENING?
- YES: Use our ISOLATE (THC FREE) products only.
- NO: Use either ISOLATE (THC FREE) or FULL SPECTRUM (trace THC) products.
- Do I want ISOLATE or FULL SPECTRUM?
- ISOLATE: Cannabidiol, or CBD, is just one of the beneficial compounds called cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. With CBD isolate, all other cannabinoids, including THC, and the beneficial compounds called terpenes have been removed from this product. Our Isolate product supports all of the body’s systems and helps restore our body’s endocannabinoid system, or ECS, back to balance (homeostasis).
- FULL SPECTRUM: Full spectrum oils contain all of the cannabinoids (more than 120) found in the hemp plant, including CBD and THC (<0.3%). Our synergistic blend also includes terpenes from cannabis plants. This product is 100% legal and will not get you high. However, since there are trace amounts of THC and due to other factors, like metabolism, it may show up on a drug screen.
- STILL UNSURE? Please feel free to ask me questions; I’m happy to help. We all have different needs and sometimes choosing the right product can be a bit daunting. I am always happy to discuss the best path for you personally with 100% confidentiality. Your privacy is of utmost importance to me!
- Oral (Tincture), Inhaled, or Topical. Which is right for me?
- TINCTURE: A tincture is a mixture of medicine (in our case CBD) made from plants (hemp) and a carrier, which is MCT oil in our tinctures. Our tinctures come in multiple strengths and flavors to meet everyone’s needs and taste buds. To use tinctures, place up to 15 drops under the tongue and hold for 1 to 3 minutes before swallowing. Best results will be seen within 1-3 months if taken diligently. Suggested serving size is 0.5 ml or 15 drops. Always start slow and build from there. Tinctures are available in both THC FREE Isolate and Full Spectrum in multiple flavors and strengths ranging from 500 mg to 3000 mg.
- CAPSULES: Available in Full Spectrum only. Delivering the same cannabinoids, terpenes, and nutrients, like essential vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids found naturally in the hemp plant, our capsules conveniently deliver 35 mg of CBD along with hemp and cannabis (Blueberry Kush and Banana Kush) derived terpenes. Our capsules also contain Myrcene, Linalool, and Turmeric. So much goodness packed into a convenient capsule for perfect dosing every time!
- INHALED: Recommended for quick relief, inhaled products are a great way to use CBD throughout the day and also as a supplement to tinctures taken twice a day. Our Full Spectrum vape oils contain cannabis derived terpenes for symptom specific relief. Vape oils are also available in THC FREE Isolate options. If you’d prefer a more pure form of CBD, our hemp flower and pre-rolls are perfect for you.
- TOPICAL: Our largest organ is our skin and it’s no surprise then that there are cannabinoid receptors in it. Using our topical massage lotions, topical rollers, and bath bombs not only pinpoint areas, but also allow for yet another delivery system for your daily CBD.
- PET CBD: While it’s not necessarily for humans, it is safe enough for humans to take and tasty too in a peanut butter flavor your pets will love. Our Pet CBD is also paired with glucosamine to help our furry friends with the pain of aging. Pet CBD also helps animals with anxiety. Available in 300 and 500 mg with 500 mg of vegan glucosamine.
- WHICH STRENGTH DO I NEED? On a scale from 1 – 10 rate the intensity of your pain or symptoms (anxiety, depression, etc).
- 1-4: General wellness, mild symptoms – 500-1000 mg of Full Spectrum; 750 Isolate
- 5-7: Moderate symptoms – 1000-1500 mg of Full Spectrum; 1500 Isolate
- 8-10: Severe symptoms – 2000-3000 mg of Full Spectrum; 2000 Isolate
